Slay The Spire Accessibility Kit
This is a collection of mods which make the mainstream card collecting Roguelike "Slay The Spire" accessible to blind players. If you have purchased the game on GOG or platforms other than steam, collecting these mods can prove to be a pain. Since steam is not the most friendly application to screen readers and requires a load of workarounds to simply gain access to something you have already purchased, this collection of mods, tested with the 2020-12-13 build from GOG, contains the following:
- Two Profiles for Mod The Spire, default, incorperating BaseMod and SayTheSpire, as well as text, incorperating CommunicationMod and TextTheSpire.
- An installation script for windows
Both Profiles include the Achievement Enabler mod, which restores the ability to gain achievements and may allow unlocking characters. To install, copy contents of root into your Slay The Spire installation directory. To add the profiles on windows, run setup.cmd. To start the game, run mts.cmd. If using TextTheSpire, run rts.exe, the ReadTheSpire program, after running mts.
